Best Kids Album Ever

Yeah, I'm still sitting here, so I thought I would go on with more random musings. So a few weeks ago I bought They Might Be Giants' kids album "Here Come the ABCs." You may remember these guys from their heyday of "Particle Man" and "Istanbul, not Constantinople" (okay, maybe not a heyday, per se, but I liked them). You know you're old when the crazy bands you listed to as a teenager are now making children's songs on Disney's label or composing Oscar-nominated film scores (Oingo Boingo's Danny Elfman).

Take a listen:

"C is for Conifer" (yeah, a whole song about pine trees) and "Alphabet of Nations" (don't forget the country of West Xylophone) are my favorites. They just came out with "Here Come the 123s" which sounds like it will likewise become a Jones classic.

Gabby is stirring (sneezing, actually), so better sign off. Don't forget, E eats everything.

We got to listen to the new CDs and thought they were fun too! Gabby can really out sing all of them though---she is the NEW age of singing stars. (I love the blog!)
