Blog Envy (Part Uno)

So my brother (Nate), sister (Kristen), brother-in-law (Josh), and sister-in-law (Jami) all have fancy-shmancy blogs and, as I sat here reading them this morning, I got blog envy. Yeah, that's right, blog envy. If they can all share intimate personal stories with billions of Internet users around the world, why can't I? I'm moderately literate and occasionally insightful/witty, right? So here goes.

I'm sitting here all dressed up (even my spiffy Lego cufflinks Megan/Gabby got me for Christmas) and nowhere to go. They're splitting our ward today and speculation is rampant about boundaries, new bishop, etc. It's all very high-school-rumor-mill, but I'm no better than the rest. Not sure I'm going to make it to Church for the big nailbiter, though, because Gabby woke up crabby and snotty and is insisting she is not going to Church. We'll see shortly if she decides to get up from a nap.

Yesterday was one of those rare perfect days in Las Vegas. Blue skies and 78 degrees. Ran five miles in the morning with Ryan W. Went to the park in the morning with the fam for a ward breakfast. Then sat in the hot tub (yes, finally, our pool is done) and soaked up some much needed sun. Topped if off with a session at the temple and a run to Luv-It for the best custard-next-to-a-strip-club that money can buy.

That's all. Perhaps I'll add photos and fancy-shmancy stuff later.

Now, you're really in trouble...I keep thinking we're going to go to Luv-It when we visit you, but we never quite make it there. So, now you go rubbing it in my face (better than snot though!) that you guys went without Topper and Grandma Lue.
